Job Description Job Description Tax Supervisor If you are a Tax Supervisor with at least 3 years experience working for CPA firms, please read on! We are a mid-size company with around 300 employees and 3 offices in Chicago and the Western and Northern Suburbs. We are fully remote with the option to come into the office as desired and require our tax employees to come into the office at least twice/week during busy seasons. Top Reasons to Work with Us - 100 years in business without a merger or acquisition - Top 50 CPA firm - Mid-Size company with all the resources of a large firm - Family oriented culture and strong work/life balance - Competitive salaries and consistent bonuses - $105,000 - $125,000 DOE What You Will Be Doing - Prepare and review Tax returns - Deliver a full range of tax services in compliance with laws and regulations within timeframe - Build relationships and interact with clients to provide expertise through excellent planning and consulting - Provide innovative tax planning and review complex income tax returns - Identify and mitigate tax risks - Manage tax provision and tax compliance process - Improve processes by developing or implementing best practices - Prepare all tax papers on a regular basis and handle all information data requests - (Training of course will be provided) What You Need for this Position -3 years of previous experience in a large or mid-size public accounting firm. - General experience for C-Corps, S-Corps, Partnerships and other Flow-Through Entities -Strong technical knowledge and skills. -Problem solving and analytical skills. -Demonstrated ability to provide feedback to less experienced team members. -Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. -Proficient use of computer applications, such as MS Office and accounting software. -A strong knowledge of Firm products and services in the practice area and a working knowledge of products and services in other practice areas. -Strong tax accounting skills. -Strong knowledge of multistate sales tax. -Knowledge of corporate income tax preparation.
