Job Description:
Gate Attendant $11.00/hour\n \n Responsible for the supervision
of the admittance guidelines for entrance to the beaches.\n Know
and enforce all rules and regulations pertaining to the Evanston
Lakefront Attend staff training sessions Collect all due monies and
check beach tokens at the beach entrances Balance all collected
monies at the end of each shift \n \n Church St. Boat Ramp
Attendant $11.00/hour\n \n Responsible for the supervision of the
admittance guidelines for entrance to the Church St. Launch
Facility.\n Know and enforce all rules and regulations pertaining
to the Evanston Lakefront Attend staff training sessions Check
Passes for the Boat Ramp \n \n Dempster St. Boat Ramp Attendant
$11.00/hour\n \n Responsible for the supervision of the admittance
guidelines for entrance to the Dempster St. Launch Facility.\n Know
and enforce all rules and regulations pertaining to the Evanston
Lakefront Attend staff training sessions Check Passes for the
Dempster St. Boat Launch Facility \n \n Beach Office Staff $13.50 -
$14.25/hour\n Responsible for the sales and operations of the
Dempster St. Beach Office Know and enforce all rules and
regulations pertaining to the Evanston Lakefront Collect all due
monies and check beach tokens at the beach office Balance all
collected monies at the end of each shift \n \n Requirements\n \n
Pre-employment Requirements\n Pre-employment testing\n All
qualified applicants will be required to take a pre-employment test
based on the Lakefront Operations Manual which will be provided
prior to the exam.\n Fill out paperwork at Hiring Session (TBD)\n
Applicants must successfully complete all of the hiring forms
correctly and promptly.\n Interview\n Upon successful completion of
the written test you will be scheduled for an interview at the
Dempster St. Beach Office.\n Mandatory pre-employment drug/alcohol
screening and Finger Printing\n Applicants will be scheduled for a
drug test consisting of a breathalyzer and a urine sample.
Applicants over 18 years old will also be subjected to a finger
print screening for the purposes of a background check.\n Attend
and successfully complete the pre-employment training Chosen
candidates will be required to provide proof of licenses,
certifications, and education required for this position.
Candidates will also be subject to qualifying pre-employment
processes, including drug/alcohol screen, employment verification,
