Job Description:
As a Regional Fleet Specialist at Johnson Controls, you will be
responsible for overseeing and enhancing the efficiency and
functionality of our automotive fleet operations across multiple
regions. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring our fleet
supports the companys goals in smart building technologies by
ensuring maximum uptime, sustainability, and technological
integration. This position requires a dynamic professional who
thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about driving
innovation in fleet management to support our global leadership in
building solutions. Manage and optimize fleet operations across
various regions, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal
regulations. Implement strategic fleet management solutions that
align with company objectives related to sustainability and
technological advancement. Monitor performance metrics and prepare
detailed reports on fleet utilization and efficiency. Liaise with
regional managers and other stakeholders to forecast needs and plan
for future fleet expansions or reductions. Oversee the maintenance,
repair, and replacement schedules of fleet vehicles to ensure
minimal downtime. Develop and implement training programs for fleet
staff on the latest fleet management technologies and best
practices. Negotiate with vendors and contractors to secure the
best prices and services for vehicle purchases, leases, and
maintenance contracts. Proven expertise in fleet management
software and database systems Strong analytical and problem-solving
skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to
manage multiple projects simultaneously with a keen attention to
detail Leadership skills with the capability to motivate and manage
teams Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k
Certified Automotive Fleet Manager (CAFM) preferred Certification
in Supply Chain Management Professional (CSCP) is advantageous
