Job Description:
Mather is an award-winning leader in the rapidly growing senior
living industry, with services spanning from luxury senior living
residences to community-based services and an in-house research
team. Its onsite marketing team is looking to add a Marketing
Manager to their expanding team. The Marketing Manager position
leads the marketing strategies, planning, implementation, and
budgeting for select Mather senior living residences to achieve
targeted goals, primarily new lead generation on a monthly and
quarterly basis, and works with sales and operations to achieve
occupancy goals. Is this role for you? You're a confident

leadership.Purpose: Leads marketing strategies, planning,
implementation, and budgeting for select Senior Living Residences
(and other Mather projects) to achieve targeted goals, primarily
new lead generation on a monthly and quarterly basis, and works
with sales and operations to achieve occupancy goals. Drives
occupancy through the implementation of internal and external
integrated marketing efforts and strategies.Essential Functions
- Plans, develops, and executes marketing and communication
strategies and tactics to achieve new lead generation goals for
senior living communities.
- Provides the strategy and creative leadership, from concept to
execution, for all aspects of marketing strategies including but
not limited to brochures, direct mail, advertising, and
e-marketing. Responsible for ensuring that all creative concepts
and design are in alignment with marketing business objectives and
brand attributes.
- Establishes positioning, identify target audiences, and develop
marketing plans with specific objectives across different
channels.
- Manages program deliverables to ensure messaging, creative
strategy, and tactics are aligned and on brand. Accountable for the
quality and proper execution of integrated marketing initiatives
including advertising, direct mail, collateral, event and outreach
strategies, and more. Plan, research, and oversee development of
tactics, timelines, and budgets.
- Creates annual budget and marketing plans to achieve targeted
goals. Manages day-to-day strategies and expenses, forecasts,
monthly accruals, and explaining variances based on strategy
decisions.
- Executes quarterly marketing analysis including reporting
analysis outcomes, lessons learned, best practices, and insights to
direct strategies to meet business goals. Leverage customer insight
to refine brand management and generate more qualified leads.
- Secures support of and communicates fully with internal client
teams to optimize marketing program buy-in and success. Works in
collaboration with internal clients to develop plans and tactics.
Additionally, works in tandem with other marketing team members and
follows established standards/processes within the experience
center and organization.Secondary Functions
- Works effectively and professionally, following established
protocol of creative briefs, estimates, and revisions with all
vendors and clients, including designers, colleagues, and agencies.
Ensures appropriate approvals of all materials are obtained prior
to being sent to client or outside.
- Directs and manages vendors and creative resources to ensure
marketing tactics' outcomes align with established goals.
- Responsible for maintaining a strong brand identity and quality
reputation through all mediums.
- Ability to work independently and use judgement to adjust
marketing strategies accordingly to meet organizational goals.
Directs and adjusts marketing strategy to meet changing market and
competitive conditions.
- Looks for opportunities to collaborate and share information
with other areas of service within Mather.
- Manages additional special projects as necessary.Minimum
Education, Skills, Knowledge, Work ExperienceRequired: Minimum 3
years' experience in a marketing role. Experience in all aspects of
developing and creating marketing strategies, including budgeting
and writing marketing plans, direct mail and advertising.
Demonstrated strength in marketing competencies including marketing
content creation, brand development, innovation, and project
leadership.Organizational and interpersonal skills; an innovators
mindset with the ability to leverage data for action; excellent
writing skills; experience working cross-functionally and
influencing others without direct authority; ability to solve
practical problems and work with all levels of staff;
follow-through and accountability; serve with a relentless
dedication to delivering results.Proficiency in Microsoft Office
applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).Preferred:
Experience in health care, senior living, or real estate
