Job Description Job Description We are seeking a detail-oriented
and customer-focused Customer Service Data Representative with a
higher level of technical and clerical skill. This role supports
customer service operations through accurate data entry, order
processing, and case management, with the opportunity to transition
into a full Customer Service Representative role. This position is
ideal for candidates with experience in order entry, billing
support, customer service operations, or data-driven office roles
who are comfortable working across multiple systems and
communicating professionally with customers via email and phone.
Key Responsibilities Accurately process customer orders, service
requests, and account updates Perform data entry and maintain
detailed records within internal systems Support billing,
invoicing, and order verification processes Manage customer cases
and follow up to ensure timely resolution Respond to customer
inquiries via email with clear, professional written communication
Review and update customer data while maintaining accuracy and
confidentiality Assist customer service teams with administrative
and operational support Identify discrepancies and escalate issues
when appropriate Ideal Backgrounds Order entry or sales support
Accounting clerk or billing support Customer service or data entry
roles Customer service roles involving order processing Help Desk
or Level 1 support experience with ticketing systems (Salesforce
familiarity a plus) Case management roles requiring quick system
learning Customer email support roles requiring strong written
communication Technical Competencies Basic computer troubleshooting
(screen resolution, network connectivity, browser/cache settings,
MFA) Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, and
SharePoint Excel/Sheets skills including: Basic formatting Using
filters in tables Referencing cells Copying/pasting tables Basic
data manipulation Strong Windows navigation skills (downloads,
recent files, shared folders, shortcuts) Typing speed of 50 WPM
with accuracy Basic math skills, including calculating discounts
and percentages Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent
required 1–3 years of relevant customer service, clerical, or
data-focused experience Strong attention to detail and
organizational skills Ability to manage multiple tasks in a
fast-paced environment Strong written and verbal communication
