Job Description Job Description Bachelor's or Master's degree in
Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and
minimum 1 years Special Education Teacher experience required.

considered. This opportunity is for a Special Education Teacher to
support K-12 students in a dynamic school setting located in
Joliet, IL. The role is offered as a contract position for the
entire school year, providing a rewarding chance to make a
meaningful impact on students with diverse learning needs.
Responsibilities include: - Designing and delivering individualized
instructional plans tailored to students with special needs -
Collaborating with general education teachers, parents, and support
staff to create inclusive learning environments - Monitoring and
documenting student progress, adjusting strategies as necessary -
Implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and
maintaining compliance with state and federal guidelines -
Utilizing various assessment tools to evaluate student development
and effectiveness of interventions Desired qualifications and
experience: - Valid Special Education teaching certification
appropriate for K-12 education - Experience working with students
across elementary, middle, and high school grade levels - Strong
knowledge of evidence-based instructional strategies and special
education law - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
