Job Description Job Description Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A speech-language pathologist (SLP) or clinical fellowship year (CFY) clinician is sought to support elementary-aged students in a school-based setting in Elgin, IL. This contract role offers a consistent schedule of 37.5 hours per week, with part-time consideration available, spanning from August 18, 2025, through May 29, 2026. Orientation is scheduled for August 4 and 5. Key Responsibilities: Support students in participating fully in classroom activities by addressing fine motor skills, visual-motor integration, sensory processing, and self-care abilities Modify tasks and environmental factors to accommodate individual student needs Conduct diagnostic and evaluation testing as required Prepare clear, detailed reports following comprehensive student assessments and observations Develop and maintain IEP objectives and accommodations tailored to each student Collaborate closely with parents and colleagues to discuss student progress and areas for further support Qualifications: Must hold or be eligible to obtain an Illinois state license for speech-language pathology Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team Flexibility and problem-solving skills to adapt to diverse student needs Benefits: Paid orientation to ensure a smooth transition into the role Full-time position offering a stable schedule with weekly pay ($45 to $55 hourly, commensurate with experience) Medical, dental, and vision benefits included Direct access to a discipline-specific supervisor for ongoing professional support and guidance "Buddy Program" for new hires to enhance orientation experience Availability of equipment and testing materials Opportunities for professional development to strengthen school-based service delivery skills Qualified candidates are encouraged to apply to make a meaningful impact on student learning and development in this supportive educational environment.
