Position Overview:As the Business Intelligence Lead, you'll bring a background in data engineering, data visualization and analytic solutions. Reporting to the Director of Business Intelligence, you will immediately affect and build our data acquisition and business intelligence strategies. You will show up each day obsessing over our challenges and drawing on your creative skills and collaborative nature to develop tangible data solutions. Your daily responsibilities will include partnering with your teams to convert business questions and high-level data collection needs into data models which support reporting requirements while promoting a self-service analytics environment with domain and tool expertise. You will support the Analytics and Data Science teams on our journey through digital transformation.What You'll Do:Influence and grow our Business Intelligence (BI) practice by providing expertise on data engineering, data visualization tools and concepts, and creating standards of data engineering for the BI teamPartner with team members in Analytics, Data Science, and Technology to identify best practices for data usageFacilitate gathering of complex data requirements from start to implementationCreate data engineering pipelines of medium and high complexityCollaborate with our data analysts to help create data pipelines and data models to build reports, dashboards and insightsCollaborate with our Information Technology team members on building pipelines for self-service analytics enablementMentor junior team members in best practices of data engineering and data modelingWhat You'll Bring:Bachelor's DegreeAdvanced (7+ years) experience with SQL and stored procedures in a data warehouse environmentAdvanced (7+ years) experience building data pipelines and workflows using ETL tools like Informatica Powercenter/Cloud, Azure Datafactory or custom python ETL tools.Intermediate (3+ years) experience using building python based ETL using Pyspark on DatabricksIntermediate (3+ years) experience building database models for data visualization tools such as Power BI, Sigma, Tableau, or LookerHands-on experience creating dimensional data models supporting a self-service reporting and dashboarding environmentHands-on experience building data warehouses and data marts with cloud databases such as Snowflake, Redshift, Oracle ADW, Azure SQL ServerHands-on experience with Data Lake and Data Warehousing concepts and dimensional modeling and Kimball methodologyExperience learning modern analytics tools and frameworksNumber of Days in Office: 3Relocation assistance is available for this position.
