Summary/Objective: The CNC Maintenance Technician will work collaboratively with the Maintenance team, as well as equipment vendors and employees daily. The CNC Maintenance Technician is responsible for regularly inspecting equipment, performing preventive maintenance tasks, conducting hydraulic, mechanical, electrical, and other repairs, and troubleshooting as needed. This individual may also be asked to perform facility maintenance tasks as needed and will be expected to adhere to safety and quality standards established by the Company. Working Conditions: Primarily working indoors in a manufacturing environment. May stand for 8 or more hours at a time. Prolonged exposure to noise, machinery, forklifts, metal shavings, and slick floors. Repetitive use of hands. Regular use of hand and electrical tools, as well as other machines when needed. Essential Functions: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Conducts routing inspections of CNC machines to identify and address mechanical, electrical, or hydraulic issues. Executes preventive maintenance tasks to ensure the machines operate optimally. Diagnose and troubleshoot technical problems promptly to minimize downtime. Collaborate with production and engineering teams to address and resolve complex machinery issues. Execute repairs and part replacements as needed, ensuring CNC machines are restores to proper working condition. Coordinate with external vendors for specialized repairs and procure necessary replacement parts. Maintain accurate records of machine maintenance activities, including repair logs and preventive maintenance schedules. Provide input on equipment performance and recommendations for improvement. Participate in safety training and contribute to the development of safety procedures related to machinery maintenance. Follow all company rules, continuous improvement initiatives, quality standards and safety policies (OSHA). Train machine operators on basic maintenance procedures to enhance overall machine reliability and provide technical support and guidance to the production team as needed. Dependable team player. Consistent adherence to safe workplace practices. Supervisory Responsibility: This role does not have any supervisory responsibility upon hiring. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time hourly position, and hours/days of work are decided by production schedules and the direct supervisor. Travel: No travel is required for this position. Requirements: Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by a team member to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the team member is regularly required to talk and hear. The team member is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The position requires frequent lifting, pushing, and pulling objects that are 50 pounds. The team member may frequently be exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The noise level in the work environment can be loud. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in related field is preferred. Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician in a CNC machine shop or similar manufacturing environment. Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills. Knowledge of CNC machine operations and programming is a plus. Familiarity with hydraulic and pneumatic systems. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics. Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to maintenance. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Work Authorization/Security Clearance: Must be able to pass E-Verify.
