Job Description Job Description Job Title: Injection Mold Set-Up Operator Job Description: The Injection Mold Set-Up Operator is responsible for setting up and operating injection molding machines and related equipment to ensure efficient production of high-quality plastic parts. This role requires technical expertise, attention to detail, and adherence to safety and quality standards. Responsibilities Set up and remove molds using appropriate tools and lifting equipment. Connect auxiliary devices such as temperature controllers, dryers, and loaders. Verify proper alignment and secure clamping of machine parameters (temperature, pressure, cycle time) according to specifications. Start up and shut down machines following standard operating procedures. Inspect parts during production for compliance with quality standards. Document inspection results and maintain accurate production records. Essential Skills 2 years of experience in Injection Mold Operating and Set-Ups. Proficiency in mold changeovers. Capability to perform first piece inspection. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with Arburg Injection molding machinery is highly preferred. Why Work Here? Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Elgin, IL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.
