Job Description Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team working in our Municipal Sector. This role is ideal for an experienced engineer who is passionate about delivering high-quality electrical designs for public infrastructure & building projects, who enjoys collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams and municipal clients. The Senior Electrical Engineer will support complex design efforts, mentor junior staff, and help ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with client expectations. Responsibilities Lead and perform electrical design for municipal infrastructure projects with the ability to work independently and lead a team. Conduct design computations , prepare cost estimates, bills of material, construction drawings, and other supporting engineering documentation. Participate in client meetings to gather requirements, provide updates, resolve technical challenges, and ensure design solutions align with stakeholder goals. Collaborate with discipline engineers, senior designers, and principal staff to develop and refine project design packages. Review and quality-check design drawings to ensure technical accuracy, compliance with standards, and alignment with client expectations. Oversee assigned tasks to ensure all project components remain within defined scope, budget, and schedule . Qualifications 6 years of technical training in design and drafting Professional Engineering (PE) license highly preferred Strong, hands-on proficiency with Revit for daily design and modeling tasks. High attention to detail with strong organizational and documentation skills. Basic experience with AutoCAD or MicroStation Working knowledge of NFPA codes 72, 101, 110 Strong working knowledge of the NEC Strong lighting design and the use of tools such as DIALux or Agi32 Knowledge of IBC and energy codes Must possess exceptional interpersonal and organizational skills Must be able to work in the US without sponsorship now or in the future Salaries for all positions are based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to relevant experience, total years of experience in the industry, education, skills, and qualifications. Compensation may vary depending on the candidate's individual background and expertise. Salaries are subject to fluctuation outside of the given range.
