Job Description Job Description Industrial Millwright Location: Addison, IL Pay: $40 – $50/hour Schedule: 4 days per week, 5:30 AM – 2:30 PM Why This Role Stands Out This role is open due to a recent retirement and is ideal for someone who thrives in a hands-on environment and enjoys solving mechanical problems. You’ll be a key player in the maintenance team, taking ownership of machining work that keeps production running smoothly. This is a true manual machinist position—focused on troubleshooting, fabricating parts, and keeping older production equipment in good shape without relying on automation or CNC. If you're comfortable working on a team and like the idea of a 4-day workweek with consistent overtime, this is the place for you. What You’ll Be Doing - Fabricate and repair machine parts using manual Bridgeport mills, lathes, and other shop equipment - Troubleshoot and rebuild mechanical components on roll formers, presses, and production machinery - Work without blueprints when needed—reverse engineer parts based on what’s broken - Collaborate with the maintenance team to keep production moving without delays - Jump in when machines go down—you're the one who figures it out and gets it running again - Maintain and organize the toolroom and machining area What You Bring - 2 years of experience as a manual machinist or millwright in a production or fabrication setting - Proficiency with mills, lathes, and manual machine tools (no CNC required) - Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills, especially on older or custom-built equipment - Ability to fabricate parts with or without drawings - Comfortable working independently and making decisions on the spot - Willing to put in some overtime when a machine needs attention Ideal Fit - Roll-up-your-sleeves kind of person - Thrives in a role where every day is different - Takes pride in figuring things out without needing step-by-step instructions - Wants a stable, low-drama environment where your skills are appreciated - Likes a 4-day workweek but isn’t afraid to stay late when things break Perks & Benefits - Full health, dental, and vision insurance - 401(k) with company match - Paid time off and holidays - Stable, family-owned company that’s been around for over 50 years - Team-first culture where people support each other and value real craftsmanship Company Description The team at JSK Recruiting, Inc. prides itself on providing boutique-level services combined with the resources of a larger recruiting firm.
