Staff Nurse, Interventional Radiology *15K Sign-On*, Evanston

Independently provide safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care for patients in the Interventional Radiology department
Utilize the nursing process in planning, implementing, and evaluating the patient plan of care
Prepare patients for procedures and monitor patient's condition periodically
Monitor the patient intra-procedure, including cardiac monitoring. --provide moderate sedation --and circulate as appropriate to support the procedure --
Recover patients post-procedure until discharge to the next level of care
Responsible for covering emergency on-call during after hours, weekends and holidays on a fair rotation
Guide and direct assigned unlicensed assistive personnel in delivering interdisciplinary patient care
Communicate and collaborate with members of the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care
Daily quality rounds on medications and supplies and other equipment as applicable
Positively contributing to safety outcomes and promoting high quality patient experience
