Staff Nurse - Resource TeamPosition Highlights:

* Position: Staff Nurse - Legacy A
* Location: Resource Team, Evanston Hospital & Skokie Hospital
* Full Time/Part Time: Resource
* Hours: 7:00AM-3:30PM, 3:00PM-11:30PM, 11:00PM-7:30AM (with variations of twelve hour shifts available)
* 120 hours' minimum required in a six-week schedule

Three (3) scheduled off shifts if working day shift with rotation

24 hours minimum scheduled weekends per schedule

Three (3) holidays per year (two major and one minor)

* Required Travel: Travel between Evanston and Skokie hospitals will be required

What you will need:

* License: Current professional Nursing Licensure in the State of IL required
* Education: Graduate of a NLN accredited school of nursing required; BSN strongly preferred
* Certification: BLS/CPR Certification for the Healthcare Provider required
* Experience: Minimum 2 years' experience in Med/Surg with proficiency in telemetry is required

What you will do:

* Independently provide safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care for a patient population on a specific unit
* Utilize the nursing process in planning, implementing, and evaluating the patient plan of care
* Guide and direct assigned unlicensed assistive personnel in delivering interdisciplinary patient care
* Communicate and collaborate with members of the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care
* Positively contributing to safety outcomes and promoting high quality patient experience
