Highlights:
Position: Staff Nurse - Legacy A
Location: Resource Team, Evanston Hospital & Skokie Hospital
Full Time/Part Time: Resource
Hours: 7:00AM-3:30PM, 3:00PM-11:30PM, 11:00PM-7:30AM (with
variations of twelve hour shifts available)
120 hours' minimum required in a six-week schedule
Three (3) scheduled off shifts if working day shift with
rotation
24 hours minimum scheduled weekends per schedule
Three (3) holidays per year (two major and one minor)
Required Travel: Travel between Evanston and Skokie--hospitals will
be required

What you will need:
License: Current professional Nursing Licensure in the State of IL
required
Education: Graduate of a NLN accredited school of nursing required;
BSN strongly preferred
Certification: BLS/CPR Certification for the Healthcare Provider
required
Experience: Minimum 2 years' experience in Med/Surg with
proficiency in telemetry is required

What you will do:
Independently provide safe, effective, and compassionate nursing
care for a patient population on a specific unit
Utilize the nursing process in planning, implementing, and
evaluating the patient plan of care
Guide and direct assigned unlicensed assistive personnel in
delivering interdisciplinary patient care
Communicate and collaborate with members of the healthcare team to
ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care
Positively contributing to safety outcomes and promoting high
quality patient experience
