• Date: 2023-05-03 The -Hospital Informatics Specialist will be responsible for analyzing and managing healthcare data to improve the quality of patient care, clinical outcomes, and workflow efficiency. They will also serve as a liaison between clinical staff and information technology (IT) teams to ensure that healthcare technology systems are integrated and utilized effectively. -Reporting to the IT Department Director, you will assist with input, programming, and training for Electronic Medical Record/Hospital Information System with the goal of maximizing system capability and efficiency. Responsibilities include analyzing and managing healthcare data to improve patient care and workflow efficiency; serving as a liaison between clinical staff and IT teams to ensure effective integration and utilization of healthcare technology systems; collaborating with clinical staff and IT teams; identifying opportunities for improvement in clinical processes and workflow; developing and providing staff and physicians EMR/HIS education program (s); and working closely with clinical staff and physicians to solve immediate and long-term problems and enhance system and staff functions.Qualifications for the -Hospital Informatics Specialist position include: Bachelor's degree in nursing, healthcare informatics, or a related field. Minimum of 2 years of experience in Systems Analyst, Healthcare Informatics or a related field; strong knowledge of healthcare technology EMR/HER application systems and processes; strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work independently and as part of a team; strong organizational and time-management skills; and ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
