Hours: 36 hours/week, Days/NOC, (7:00am- 3:30pm) &
(7:00pm-7:30am)

Description:
5 North Searle is a 36-bed telemetry acute medical unit
specializing in post interventional cardiac care, Congestive Heart
Failure, Hemorrhagic and Ischemic Strokes. The unit also has 3-6
Intermediate cardiac stepdown beds. The unit operates 24-hours a
day, 365 days out of the year catering to an adult and geriatric
patient population.
The Staff Nurse will engage in relationship-based care providing
holistic, patient-centered care to achieve healthy relationships in
a safe, healing, caring environment enabling patients and family to
equally partner in the multidisciplinary care provided.
What you will do:
* Independently provide safe, effective, and compassionate nursing
care for a patient population on a specific unit
* Utilize the nursing process in planning, implementing, and
evaluating the patient plan of care
* Guide and direct assigned unlicensed assistive personnel in
delivering interdisciplinary patient care
* Communicate and collaborate with members of the healthcare team
to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care
* Positively contributing to safety outcomes and promoting high
quality patient experience
What you will need:
* License: Current professional Nursing Licensure in the State of
IL required
* Education: Graduate of a NLN accredited school of nursing
required; BSN strongly preferred
* Certification: BLS/CPR certification required (American Heart
Association BLS for the Healthcare Provider)
* Experience: 1 year of nursing experience in an office or hospital
setting preferred
