Description:
5 South Searle is a 35-bed acute medical telemetry unit
specializing in general medicine, oncology, hospice and palliative
care. The unit operates 24-hours a day, 365 days out of the year
catering to an adult and geriatric population.
The Staff Nurse will engage in relationship-based care providing
holistic, patient-centered care to achieve healthy relationships in
a safe, healing, caring environment enabling patients and family to
equally partner in the multidisciplinary care provided.

What you will do:
Independently provide safe, effective, and compassionate nursing
care for a patient population on a specific unit
Utilize the nursing process in planning, implementing, and
evaluating the patient plan of care
Guide and direct assigned unlicensed assistive personnel in
delivering interdisciplinary patient care
Communicate and collaborate with members of the healthcare team to
ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care
Positively contributing to safety outcomes and promoting high
quality patient experience

What you will need:
License:--Current professional Nursing Licensure in the State of IL
required
Education:--Graduate of a NLN accredited school of nursing
required; BSN strongly preferred
Certification:--BLS/CPR certification--required (American Heart
Association BLS for the Healthcare Provider)
Experience:--1 year of nursing experience in an office or hospital
setting preferred
