What you will need:
* License: Current professional Nursing licensure in the state of
IL required
* Education: Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited program;
Doctorate in Nursing Practice desirable
* Certification: CPR/BLS required; ACLS/PALS/NRP if applicable to
clinical specialty; board certified in areas of clinical specialty
or in Nursing Professional Development
* Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of medical/surgical clinical
experience preferred; minimum of 3-5 years of experience in the
preceptor/educator role, along with experience with teaching,
coaching, and mentoring
What you will do:
* Provide clinical nursing expertise in area of clinical specialty-
medical/surgical
* Serve as a reliable source of information on the latest
evidence-based, cost-effective, and safe clinical nursing
practices
* Partner in the development of evidence-based policies,
procedures, and protocols: create and implement a plan to ensure
sustainable change on the clinical unit level
* Assist in direct patient care to provide staff support and
guidance and/or modification of the patient's plan of care
* Lead the ongoing development, design, implementation, and
evaluation of the Transition to Practice Program
