• Employment Type: TravelPosition / Specialty: OR RN Shift: Monday-Friday (0) Ratios: 30-50 cases/day Years of experience REQ: Minimum 4 years' experience required. First-timers accepted: No Weekend REQ: One weekend call shift in six weeks Certs REQ: BLS and IL license required. Is on-call REQ? 4 call shifts in a 6 week schedule Will clinician float within scope to meet facility needs? No. Open to accommodating block schedule? No Locals accepted: Yes- no radius. Pending License accepted: No- must have active IL license to apply. RTO Restrictions: Ideally no more than 5 days. Guaranteed Hours: Can be low censused once a calendar month without penalty. Special Requirements: General OR experience required. Laparoscopic assisted cases in Endo procedures required. Required General Surgery Case Skills/Experience: Appendectomy, Cholecystectomy, Colon resection, Hernia repair inguinal/umbilical, Laparoscopic assisted procedures, Mastectomy, Scrub General Surgery, Thyroidectomy partial/total. Required Robotics Skills/Experience: Da Vinci Xi Surgical System, Gynecologic robotic surgery, Urologic robotic surgery. Required Urology Skills/Experience: Cystoscopy. Required Equipment Skills/Experience: Electrosurgical units. Required Professional Knowledge and Skills: Specimen Handling/labeling. Epic experience required. Type of Facility: Short Term Acute Care Magnet / Teaching / Level Trauma (if applicable): Level I Trauma Center, Teaching Hospital Total Staffed Beds: 719 Scrub Color: Provided Charting: Epic Parking Cost: Staff who work the day and evening shifts can shuttle from Ryan Field, the service is available Monday through Friday. No shuttle on weekends or holidays, will be allowed to park in parking structure on the south side of the lot. Please remember staff must complete an application; present to parking office and receive a sticker that needs to be displayed on rear window. For night parking, go to the parking office to arrange payment at the employee rate before shift. Auto payment may also be set up. Fees apply to days and mids, $15 bi-weekly.
