qualified ICU/Critical Care RN in Evanston, Illinois, 60201! Pay

Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: ICU
Duration: 6 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (19:00 -
07:30) Experience: Minimum 1 year required License: Valid license
required Certifications: BCLS, ACLS required; CCRN preferred
Must-Have: Strong neurosurgical experience and familiarity with
EVDs, post-op crani, Stroke Thrombectomy/TNK Description:
Position/Specialty: ICU RN. Shift: 3x12 NIGHTS (1900-0730). Weekend
Requirement: Every other weekend. Floating Requirement: May float
to other facilities. Holiday Requirement: Possibly. On Call
Requirement: None. Special Requirements: Candidate should have
strong neurosurgical experience, including EVD, post-op crani,
stroke thrombectomy, and TNK. Patient Ratios: 1:2 patients or 1:1.
Familiarity with CABG/Valve patients, ECMO, LVAD, TAVR, Impella
patients, and the neurosurgical population, including EVD,
post-crani, ischemic and hemorrhagic strokes, administration of
TPA, deep brain stimulators, and ant/post laminectomies is
expected. Experience with OB hemorrhagic patients with Bakri
balloon and eclamptic postpartum patients is required. Candidates
should be familiar with ventilators, BiPAP, high-flow oxygen, and
nitric oxide administration. Experience with tracheostomies,
laryngectomy patients, conscious sedation, ICP monitoring, IV
starts, pulmonary artery lines, and telemetry is essential. The
ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary support
