TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified
ICU/Critical Care RN in Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin, 53158! Job
Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: ICU
Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2
years of recent ICU experience License: WI/Compact License
Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Must-Have: Must have BLS, ACLS,
and NIHSS in hand at submission. Must include 2 supervisor
references within 1 year, with one from the most recent/current
assignment. Description: This position requires strong skills in
Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT). The nurse will float
to Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) if needed. The patient ratio on
the unit is 2-3. The ideal candidate must have experience managing
various critical care procedures. Experience with Epic charting
system is preferred. Candidates must be able to demonstrate
proficiency in arterial line management and central line care. They
should possess skills in the management of ventilated patients and
the administration of emergency medications. Knowledge of
phlebotomy and the interpretation of arterial blood gases is
required. Candidates will be expected to manage dysrhythmias and
titrate cardiac and vasoactive drips. Experience with care of
patients with multi-system organ dysfunction/failure is necessary.
Familiarity with isolation precautions and PPE is required. The
nurse will collaborate with interdisciplinary support services such
as respiratory services and pharmacy. The position requires
adherence to safety protocols and infection prevention measures.
Candidates with charge experience are preferred. A strong
background in critical care nursing is essential for this role. 5
