Join our healthcare team and make a difference in cardiac imaging and interventional radiology./n /n/nCompensation & Hours/n /n - Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $2,490 - $2,670 per week/n - Hours: 40 hours per week/n /n/nCardiac Cath Lab Technologist Job Details/n /n - Location: Oak Park, Illinois 60304 (Chicago metro area)/n - Healthcare Setting: Cardiac Catheterization Lab/n - Employment Type: Travel Radiologic Technologist Contract/n - Contract Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 12/29/2025, End: 3/30/2026)/n - Shift: Day Shift, Monday-Friday, 5x8-hour shifts (07:00 - 15:30)/n - On-Call: Call starts at 3:30pm; 7-10 days/month including every other weekend (Fri, Sat, Sun)/n - Patient Population: Adults & Geriatrics/n /n/nRadiologic Technologist Qualifications/n /n - Minimum 1 year of experience as a Radiology Technologist, preferably in a Cardiac Cath Lab or Interventional Radiology/n - Current ARRT (R) certification required/n - Illinois IEMA Radiologic Technologist license required/n - BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association)/n - Experience with Siemens IR/CATH tables and MacLab recording system preferred/n - Proficiency with Epic charting system preferred/n - COVID-19 vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions considered)/n - Must complete required labs within 72 hours of contract signing/n - Fingerprinting required prior to start date/n /n/nCardiac Cath Lab Technologist Responsibilities/n /n - Perform diagnostic and interventional radiology procedures in the Cardiac Catheterization Lab/n - Monitor and accurately document all cardiac procedures/n - Operate specialized imaging equipment: Siemens IR/CATH tables, Power Injector, PACS, and MacLab/n - Float between Cardiac Cath Lab and Interventional Radiology as needed/n - Maintain sterile field and assist with scrub duties during procedures/n - Participate in on-call rotation and provide weekend coverage as assigned/n - Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to deliver high-quality patient care/n - Support a range of cardiac and vascular procedures including angioplasty, stent placement, cardiac ablation, and catheter/drain exchange/n /n/n /n Oak Park, Illinois, offers a unique blend of urban excitement and suburban charm, with excellent dining, cultural attractions, and convenient access to Chicago healthcare jobs.
