Job Description Job Description Role & Unit: Registered Nurse providing direct care for Cardiac Cath Lab and Interventional Radiology (IR) patients. Licensure: Must hold an active Registered Nurse credential from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR). Certification: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers required (AHA or American Red Cross accepted). Experience: 12 years of cumulative job-specific nursing experience is required. Previous experience in Cardiac Cath Lab or IR is strongly preferred. Key Responsibilities: Implement and monitor comprehensive patient care plans. Serve as the primary coordinator for interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care. Execute physician and nursing orders while monitoring and documenting patient conditions. Assess and coordinate complex discharge planning needs. Schedule & On-Call Requirements: Coverage includes every 3rd weekend. Must complete at least 16 on-call shifts per 6-week period for OR/IR support.
