Job Description Job Description Master's degree in Occupational
Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1 year of
Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not
meet these qualifications will not be considered. A rewarding
opportunity is available for an Occupational Therapist skilled in
providing support within school settings. This role involves
traveling to deliver specialized occupational therapy services to
students in need, fostering their development and helping them
achieve greater independence. Key Responsibilities: Assess and
analyze students' needs to develop tailored occupational therapy
plans. Implement interventions designed to improve fine motor
skills, sensory processing, and functional abilities. Collaborate
with educators, parents, and other professionals to support
individualized education programs (IEPs). Monitor and document
student progress, adjusting therapy approaches as necessary.
Provide education and resources to staff and families to enhance
therapeutic outcomes. Desired Experience and Qualifications: Valid
licensure as an Occupational Therapist. Experience delivering
occupational therapy services in educational environments. Strong
communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with
children, school personnel, and families. Ability and willingness
to travel between school sites within the designated area.
Knowledge of current best practices in pediatric occupational
therapy. Location: Midlothian, VA This position offers a dynamic
