Compensation - Estimated Weekly Pay: $2100 - $2250 Travel Nurse Job Details - Location: Milwaukee, WI 53226 (Wisconsin travel nursing jobs) - Assignment Length: 13 weeks with potential extension - Start Date: September 29, 2025 - Shifts: 12-hour nights (7:30 PM – 8:00 AM) - Hours per Week: 36 guaranteed - Weekend Rotation: Every other weekend (Friday/Saturday/Sunday) - On-Call: None - Healthcare Setting: Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU West 4) PICU RN Qualifications - Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Wisconsin or Compact State - Associate Degree or Certificate in Nursing required; Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred - Current AHA BLS and AHA PALS certifications - Minimum 1 year of recent PICU RN experience required - Recent experience with tracheostomies and ventilators required - EPIC electronic health record/charting experience highly preferred - Flu vaccine required (no exemptions) PICU Nurse Responsibilities - Deliver high-quality, compassionate nursing care to pediatric patients in a 44-bed surgical, trauma, and medical PICU - Care for a diverse patient population, including neurosurgical, general surgical, trauma, and medical/respiratory cases from neonate through young adult - Utilize advanced clinical equipment such as oscillators, ICP monitoring, EVDs, and CRRT - Float to all inpatient units, including critical care, NICU, and acute care as needed - Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams in a teaching hospital environment - Maintain professional appearance and adhere to hospital policies regarding attire and conduct Discover rewarding travel nursing jobs in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and experience the city’s vibrant culture while making a difference in pediatric critical care.
