compensation: $16-$19 based on experience, Additional Pooled Tipsemployment type: part-timeBeth s Little Bake Shop is looking for new Baristas/Retail Staff to join our Team!. Full-Time and Part-Time considered!We have implemented many features to make the shop a safer working environment during this time of Covid-19 including (but not limited to) a new Walk-Up Window and Partitions at the retail station. Safety for you and our customers are an upmost importance and we require all workers to work as a team to uphold that.Barista Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):- Knowledge of our offerings including Pastry, Desserts, French Macarons, and Cakes- Serving customers a wide range of pastries and coffee, tea, and Espresso drinks- Taking specialty cake and custom orders- Keeping Retail station and Shop area clean, organized and stocked- Closing out the register & cleaning/stocking up the shop at the end of the day.Requirements:-Must be 18 or older (out of high school)- Must be able to work Saturdays and Holidays (Thanksgiving Eve and Christmas Eve)-Must be a self starter, responsible and reliable, personable, friendly and outgoing-Must be organized and pay close attention to detail-Must have a ServeSafe certificate (within 30 days of hiring)-Must be able to carry/lift 30lbs and be able to go up and down stairs repeatedly.-The ideal candidate must have at least 1 year of customer service/retail experience If you feel like you would be a great fit for either position, please submit through email a cover letter and resume including references!Beth's Little Bake Shop is an EOE, an established Evanston bakery celebrating 7 years in 2022!
