Job Description:
Clean Harbors is seeking a Class A Tanker Driver to operate
within the regional zones, ensuring the safe and efficient delivery
of hazardous materials while adhering to stringent environmental
and safety standards. This position requires handling emergency
response and industrial cleaning projects, embodying our commitment
to sustainability and protection of the environment. Transport
hazardous waste across assigned regional routes, adhering to all
federal, state, and local regulations. Maintain accurate logs of
travel and cargo details with a focus on safety and compliance.
Participate in emergency spill responses as needed. Conduct vehicle
inspections to ensure mechanical integrity. Regular communication
with dispatch and operations team to report concerns and status
updates. Proficiency in operating Class A tankers. Strong knowledge
of DOT regulations and safety standards. Ability to work flexibly
in response to on-call emergencies. Exceptional navigational and
route management skills. Effective communication and documentation
abilities. Medical Insurance 401k Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s
License (CDL) with Tanker and Hazmat endorsements. DOT physical
exam certification. Clean driving record.
