Job Description:
Provide LAN/WAN/WLAN support for fifty connected sites with two
major data centers primarily supporting remote sites that operate
in the US Central and Central European time zones; Strategic
network infrastructure design and implementation which includes
improvements to current architecture and adding new sites to
existing infrastructure; Perform network infrastructure changes to
support business IT resource requirements in a cost effective
methods; Planning for network infrastructure hardware lifecycle and
related support contract renewals; Provide network security by
deploying security policies, controls, and firewall rules; Work
with Global network infrastructure team in various global project
delivery and support; Provide Level 3 network escalation support
and troubleshooting services to provide business continuity; Work
with other IT functional teams to provide technical solutions and
support in network infrastructure to implement various IT services
for business growth; Creating Level 1 & 2 network related support
process for global helpdesk team; Documenting local and global
network traffic flow and standards; Maintain Videojets global data
and voice network architecture. Monitors uptime availability,
capacity, and performance to meet and exceed our business Service
Level Agreements (SLAs); Support fault tolerant and highly
available networks providing 99.999% uptime; Support and management
of the Internet/WAN/LAN/WLAN, Voice and Network Security supporting
all data centers and corporate offices; Ensuring that our
Network/Systems security guidelines adhere to CISP and PCI
compliance standards; Conduct periodic security audits, risk
assessments, penetration and high availability testing across all
Videojet sites and datacenters; Responsible for Change Management
and Incident Management for Network infrastructure; Provide project
oversight and technical leadership in satisfying implementation
milestones; Establish requirements, perform needs assessments and
proposal development; Maintain overall inventory of network devices
to allow for tracking of service dependencies, maintenance
contracts and device service life; Develop inventory of network
circuits, maintain provider relationships, establish escalation
process and manage overall terms and costs; Work rotational shifts
and occasional change windows during evenings and weekends; and
Provide emergency on-call support as needed. 15% to 20% international travel to Latin America and Europe. Experience must include routing (OSPF and BGP protocols),
Switching (Catalyst and Nexus 9k), Wireless (2504, 3504, 5508 WLC)
and Firewalls (Cisco & Palo Alto). design and implementation;
Applying troubleshooting techniques including packet capture
(Wireshark), vulnerability scanning tools (Nessus, Retina), and
debugging (Cisco, Palo Alto); Supporting network monitoring
applications (rancid, NMIS, syslog server, looking glass, SmokePing
and Netflow) by using Linux and Perl programming knowledge; Working
with TCP/IP protocol suite, including IPv4, IPv6, GRE, IPSEC, DHCP,
DNS, SNMP; Data center build out and disaster recovery
implementation. Education and Experience Requirement: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology,
or related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent)
plus five (5) years of experience in job or in Network
Infrastructure design and deployment. Must have CCNA, CCDA, CCNP,
