The Business Transformation Digitalization Project Manager independently plans and carries out moderate projects involving small to medium level projects to achieve stated objectives.

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Managing the implementation of small to medium projects
  • Provides overall leadership and support to project team members
  • Acts as front-line contact on project related activities, issues, and risks. Manages the project risks and issues and escalates accordingly
  • Interfaces with Business Unit Leaders manages stakeholders’ communication and escalates accordingly
  • Adheres to program and project governance (controls)
  • Plans the overall project and monitors the progress, and performs Daily project management throughout the project’s life cycle
  • Coordinates the projects and their interdependencies
  • Manages and utilizes resources
  • Aligns the deliverables (outputs) to the project’s “outcome” with the aid of the business change manager
  • Read and follow the Underwriters Laboratories Code of Conduct, and follow all physical and digital security practices
  • Performs other duties as directed.

  • Strong project management and team leadership skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with sponsor reporting and escalation
  • Ability to clearly communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Strong facilitation, collaboration, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Ability to anticipate risks and devise solutions in the moment
  • Focused and versatile team player who is comfortable under pressure, ambiguity, frequent change, or unpredictability
  • Understanding of software development lifecycles (i.e. Agile, SCRUM, Waterfall, Iterative)
  • In depth understanding of project management concepts

EXPERIENCE

  • More than four years of project management experience
  • Experience working on project and portfolio management Tools (Visio, MS Project, Excel, Jira, Azure Devops, Clarity, )

 

EDUCATION

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, business or related field.  PMP, Prince 2and/or Agile certification (preferred but not required) with related hands on delivery experience
