in the Global Lab Support organization, under minimal supervision,
repair and verify complex test equipment used in the laboratories
for conformance to established government, commercial and
organization standards. When necessary, manage the repairs using
outside vendors by obtaining quotes, scheduling and managing the
activity. Plan and carry out preventative maintenance activities to
maximize equipment up time.
- Schedule and
perform IEC and ASTM Oven and chamber verifications, including
multipoint temperature and humidity uniformity mapping, measuring
thermal lag and air changes as needed, using the appropriate test
equipment, recording the results and maintaining the verification
records to meet our accreditation requirements.
- Formulates and
completes preventative maintenance plans for laboratory ovens,
chambers and other test equipment as necessary.
