The Dean of Academics is critical to ensuring that the district is enabling equitable outcomes for all children. The Dean serves as the coleader of instruction and assists the Principal in inspiring a culture that supports high levels of learning for all students, elevating equity, culturally relevant instruction/programming and restorative practices at all times. The Dean upholds district priorities, policies, programs and practices and is a key partner to the principal, staff, students, parents and families. Dynamic, visionary leaders please apply.

Qualifications:

• Illinois Professional Educator License
• Currently pursuing and General Administrative or Principal endorsement or plans to begin that pursuit in the coming school year
• Teacher evaluator modules completed (may be completed after hire, but prior to evaluation process commencing)
• Demonstrated interest in leadership
• Minimum of five years as a successful educator at K-5 or 6-8 level
• Google, Powerschool(SIS), Excel, Frontline (Recruiting & Hiring), TalentEd
