Job Description - PM&R Support Associate (insurance verification) (86407) Job Description PM&R Support Associate (insurance verification) - ( 86407 ) Po sit i on H i gh li ghts: Position: PM&R Support Associate ( insurance verification) Location: 2500 Ridge Ave, Evanston Full Time: Full time, 40 hours per week Hours: Monday- Friday 8:30AM-5:00PM What you will need : Education: High school diploma or equivalent required Experience: One year of related experience is required; previous administrative experience working in a medical office is preferred; insurance verification experience preferred Skills: Minimum typing speed of 20 words per minute required. What you will do : Schedule appointments Collect co-pays Complete patient registration Provide other administrative support to the clinic Check in and check out patients -Verifying a patient's insurance benefits, communicating with insurance companies and obtaining authorization for patient's visits. Maintain a working knowledge of a variety of insurance company visit requirements and be able to process that information via telephone or web applications.
