Job Description:
POSITION: FSQA Supervisor 3rdshiftLOCATION: Skokie, ILSTARTING
PAY:$70-75,000DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:The Quality Assurance
Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily activities of
the QA Specialists and COA Technicians. The Supervisor will assist
in developing, training, enforcing, and monitoring food safety and
quality programs to ensure safe, quality products that post no risk
to consumers. This position will report on quality related issues
and will be engaged in customer and 3rd party audits and visits.
The role will also facilitate and monitor plant QA
policies/procedures while utilizing risk assessments and CAPAs to
help solve any production issues that may arise.REQUIRED EDUCATION
& EXPERIENCE:3+ years of quality assurance experience required.3+
years of increasing management responsibilities in a manufacturing
environment.Bachelor of Science degree in biological field, food
science, microbiology, etc.HACCP certification required.Previous
experience supervising a team.Excellent communication skills both
verbal and written.Excellent computer skills and proficient in
Excel, Word, and Outlook.Excellent interpersonal skills and
management style.Excellent time management and organizational
skills, with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
and prioritize deadlines.Collaborate successfully with
cross-functional teams.
