The role requires managing multiple tasks and projects with defined timelines, collaborating with team members across departments, and maintaining strong product knowledge.To succeed in this role, you must thrive in a fast-paced environment, be detail-oriented, and have excellent communication skills. You should be career-focused, eager to learn, and contribute to the company's long-term growth.Key Responsibilities:Provide design consultation and customer service support to clientsUse design expertise to assist in promoting and securing sales of OPTO products and servicesQualify, establish, and maintain customer relationships via phone, email, and follow-up on client-specific materialsOffer both proactive and reactive support to incoming inquiriesDevelop and maintain product knowledge to match customer needs with appropriate solutionsRecommend fixtures and layouts based on client specificationsCreate detailed project proposals, including drawings and quotesAssist in managing documentation, BOMs, and assembly detailsQualifications:Associate's degree or higher in Interior DesignMinimum of 3 years of experience in interior design, retail design, or a related industryProficient in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Suite, PowerPoint, and online research toolsEagerness to continuously learn about the retail industry to contribute to OPTO's growthSelf-motivated, eager to learn, and driven to contribute to company growthDemonstrate a positive attitude and enthusiasm for success, inspiring and influencing others through your example.Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask while ensuring accuracy and precisionStrong organizational skills and ability to prioritize effectivelyExcellent written and verbal communication skills--Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative teamWhat we offer:Competitive compensation and benefits package, including a 401(k) plan with employer match, medical, dental, and vision insurance, AD&D and life insurance, and paid time off (PTO)Bonus Incentive programCasual office environmentA team of passionate, creative, and fun team who is dedicated to the growth of our companyA diverse work experience where you can see projects come to life. --Starting with the inception of projects in marketing and business development, through the concept and development with our design and engineering teams, all the way to fabrication and final delivery to our customersWork Environment and Physical Requirements:This position is based in an office environment.
