There might be a possible way we can get the driver extra training to suffice safeties requirements. Contractor Options:Trailers: The contractor can pull his own trailer or pull a HS Express trailer.Plate Program: We need each contractor to supply their own plates. We can loan the contractor the money and set up weekly payments to be deducted from the contractors settlements until paid back. There are no extra fees or interest included. Our owners/drivers will be capped at $1,000 until the plate is paid back in full. The 1st installment of your Sign on Bonus will go to this cost. We do this usually so that the amount is paid back quickly. This ensures we are paid and that you own everything. The base plate would then be out of the contractors home state and the contractor will have ownership of the plates.SecurementEquipment: Cost of the equipment depends on the contractor s needs. The cost is set up in payments to be deducted from your settlement weekly. Zero down payment for Securement equipment.Deductions: $41 week Occupational/Accidental insurance, and $30-month non-trucking liability insurance. Physical damage insurance is an option $60-$150 is typical per Month depending on Age/Value of truck.Discounts: Fuel discount program through several different vendors including but not limited to Pilot, Loves & Flying J across the country. Riechmann Transport also has a National Tire Account and a discount on equipment at Utility Trailer Sales.BestPass: BestPass is $15 month with toll charges deducted weekly.MaintenanceEscrow Acct: Operators can take advantage of an optional payroll deduction that allows them to put money aside for unforeseen emergencies.Referral Pay: Operators and Lease Purchase Drivers can earn extra pay by referring Owner Operators, Company Drivers and Lease Purchase Operators to HS Express.
