Staff Management is currently hiring an experienced Bookkeeper for our client, who is a 100 year old, successful family-owned company, located in Evanston, IL. This is an on-site position. Duties: Maintenance of company permanent files including all invoices, statements Bank reconciliations Check Preparation Preparation and reporting on all intercompany charge Preparation of reports for weekly finance meetings Preparation of daily bank deposits and entering cash receipts Sales tax filings Management Reports as required Maintaining employee records for PTO. Employment Types: Direct Hire, Full Time. Work Location: Minasian Rug Co., 1244 Chicago Avenue, Evanston, IL 60202. Job Types: Finance-Accounting. Shifts: 1st Shift. Attributes: Background Check. Benefits: Casual Dress Code, Paid Time Off. Education Required: HS Diploma or GED. Starting Wage: $24.00. Pay Rate: $50,000 per year.Required Skills:The successful candidate will have demonstrated expertise in QuickBooks, Microsoft Office and Google platforms such as Sheets and Docs. You will: Data entry for all transactions Accounts payable including maintenance of vendor records for consignment inventory Accounts receivable for both retail and service businesses Payroll review (company uses an outside payroll service for all required filings Preparation of 1099 s outside of payroll service #L1-KK1
