The Marketing & Communications team helps build the ZS brand, champion thought leadership, support business development and engage our past, present and future workforce. ABM SALES ENABLEMENT--MARKETING LEAD We are seeking an experienced marketing professional to join our Evanston, IL office. This role will have two primary functions: 1) work with our European client teams to build and activate a marketing strategy to support their key account strategy 2) work with other US-based client teams to create awareness of marketing activation strategies - the latest thought leadership available, campaigns in market, speaking opportunities at events, etc. The ultimate goal is to enable client teams to be more successful in their business development efforts. This individual will act as a strategic business partner and advisor to ZS client team leaders. They will be responsible for translating business objectives into strategic marketing and sales enablement plans that drive sales productivity and enhance the ZS brand. To generate demand among our European audience, the Lead will create and implement a content strategy in collaboration with the editorial team. They will create awareness or lead generation campaigns in collaboration with creative, demand generation and digital teams which may include digital and social marketing, e-mail, webinars and paid search. This person will also partner with team leadership to build and execute a sales enablement function that drives organizational alignment, increases sales pipeline acceleration and improves the effectiveness of ZS account teams. This role uses knowledge of the European market, pharmaceutical industry, ZS offerings and selling processes to lead strategic programs that support sales productivity and influence perceptions of ZS's target audiences. The role requires an understanding of marketing fundamentals for strategic planning, strong marketing execution skills for tactical responsibilities and experience implementing successful sales enablement initiatives. Responsibilities:

  • Primary liaison between client team / regional business leaders and ZS marketing, partnering with all stakeholders to create comprehensive, strategic marketing and sales enablement plans and initiatives.
  • Understand European market, industry and business drivers, as well as key initiatives business leaders and account teams are focused on.
  • Define and manage budget allocation for marketing and sales enablement programs.
  • Create and execute integrated marketing campaigns using tactics that include thought leadership, live / virtual events, email, webinars, digital advertising, and social networking, among others.
  • Ensure that all marketing campaigns are aligned with the corporate vision, themes, and brand guidelines.
  • Develop sales enablement strategies and initiatives in partnership with team leadership
  • Measure and assess marketing and sales enablement activities, and report on outcomes and effectiveness to business stakeholder Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or Business. MBA a plus.
    • 5-7+ years in B2B solution marketing and sales enablement experience.
    • 2+ years of experience marketing to European audiences preferred.
    • Experience coaching, mentoring, and managing others preferred.
    • Demonstrated skills collaborating with business stakeholders, including senior leaders within a highly matrixed organization.
    • Exceptional presentation and communication skills - both verbal and written, including experience presenting to and influencing senior executives.
    • Demonstrated experience understanding content strategy and operations; aligning content to buyer's journey and content marketing.
    • Solid experience creating and executing integrated marketing campaigns in a B2B environment.
    • Experience with marketing automation platforms (Marketo), CRM systems (SF.com), sales enablement platforms (SharePoint), social media, and SEO a plus.
    • Goal-oriented and collaborative with the ability to take initiative and deliver projects unsupervised. Exceptional organizational project and people management skills with attention to detail.
    • Flexibility to work across time zones, including early-morning US hours to interact with global team based in Europe and India.
    • Approximately 15% travel (including travel to Europe approximately 2 times a year). ZS is a global consulting firm; fluency in English is required, additional fluency in at least one European or Asian language is desirable.--
