hard-working, talented professionals! Job SUMMARY Chubb Benefits is
hiring a Director of Competitive Intelligence to lead research and
analysis of key competitors within the supplemental employee
benefits market for both worksite and individual sales for all
three business across the U.S. and Canada. This strategic role will
oversee the coordination of market survey responses, manage
relationships with external vendors, and deliver timely competitive
intelligence to support business objectives. The Director will be
responsible for creating and sharing executive summaries that
provide actionable insights for key stakeholders. Reporting to the
VP of Channel Marketing, this position will collaborate closely
with cross-functional leaders. Responsibilities Prepare competitive
intelligence executive summaries and present actionable insights
for senior leadership across sales, marketing, product,
underwriting and other operations team to inform decision making,
product development, positioning, messaging, and go-to-market
strategies. Collect, synthesize, analyze and communicate insights
from various sources, such as industry reports, online platforms,
analyst briefings, news articles, and webinars. Create and maintain
competitive intelligence deliverables, such as surveys, dashboards,
presentations, and newsletters that communicate key findings and
implications to stakeholders. Maintain relationships with internal
and external subject matter experts to gain insights and
perspectives on the market and competitive landscape. Manage
external vendors providing professional services, subscriptions,
and access to industry data reports, analytics, and other
intelligence. Evaluate professional services and provide
recommendations for additional sources or services as appropriate.
Travel up to 10–15% for in-person meetings, depending on

interpret data from multiple sources and present actionable
insights clearly and concisely. Expertise in managing competitive
intelligence programs and translating complex, fragmented data into
clear, actionable insights. Proficient in primary and secondary
research techniques, ensuring all intelligence gathering adheres to
legal and ethical guidelines. Strong project management skills;
works with a sense of urgency and adapts to changing business
requirements and priorities. Excellent organizational skills, with
the ability to maintain detailed documentation. Ability to
influence and collaborate effectively with cross-functional
partners on initiatives. Strong communication, interpersonal, and
collaboration skills, with the ability to engage effectively at all
levels of the organization. Proficiency in Microsoft Office
(Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) with a good sense for
presentation and data visualization. Education and Experience 8
years of experience in competitive intelligence or business
analysis Experience in worksite sales and broker experience within
the life, health, and accident insurance industry BS Degree or
higher in Business, Marketing, Finance, Economics or related field.
The pay range for the role is $94,000 to $136,000. The specific
offer will depend on an applicant’s skills and other factors. This
role may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual

disclosed pay range estimate may be adjusted for the applicable
geographic differential for the location in which the position is
filled.
